Inch by inch the school has also grown, from a group of volunteers clinging to a dirt patch at Ponce de Leon and Fairview to a thriving school diverse in program and talent. Two generations of parents and teachers have built a school true to its original intent and more successful every year. We are still building Paideia. The annual Fund is an essential part of that progress.
The mission of the Annual Fund is to support Paideia in the here and now: the Annual Fund provides flexible, immediate funds. Its purpose is to ensure that Paideia has the ability to act on the needs that arise each year. The Annual Fund is used to fund financial aid and technology and ensures that the school has the dexterity to meet important needs each year as they arise.
The Annual Fund is, therefore, the first priority of Paideia. Our goal is to increase the flexible resources at Paideia’s disposal each year, so that the school can respond more effectively to the needs that arise, particularly those in financial aid.
Paideia is asking every family to consider making the Annual Fund a priority each year. Greater participation at all levels will increase Paideia’s ability to meet the needs of students and teachers and to maintain its unique educational experience.
The school is also seeking greater philanthropic leadership in the Annual Fund through the Python Society and Paideia Partners. Click here for Leadership Giving.
