Paideia Ultimate Players win Club National Championship

Each summer, USA Ultimate hosts the Youth Club Championship, a tournament that brings together the nation’s best youth club ultimate teams. In August, four teams from Atlanta (Under-17 Girls, Under-17 Boys, Under-20 Girls, and Under-20 Boys) traveled to Denver, Colorado to participate in the tournament. Paideia students were well-represented on the Atlanta teams.

Atlanta’s Under-17 Girls team, rATLers, won the whole tournament, making them National Champions! Seven Paideia students played on the team (L-R): Ashima Gandhi ’26, Hazel Hughes ’26, Kiran Diez ’26, Eva Gartland ’27, Zee Verani ’26, Adele Issa ’28 and Amiya Bhattacharya ’26. Congratulations to these students on this tremendous win! We are so proud of you and the hard work and determination you exhibited while competing at the national level.
