2023 Eraser Toss

An old tradition continues as the new school year begins. On the first day of school, Head of School Tom Taylor threw out his inaugural eraser, which was caught by 10th grader Wyatt Ippen. As legend has it, Wyatt is now destined to become a teacher. While he is not too keen on the idea of becoming an educator, Wyatt did say if he had to teach any subject he would teach history, specifically Greek mythology. We’re so happy to see this tradition continue. As Tom noted prior to the Eraser Toss, “teaching is the most noble profession.”
