The Paideia School

Investing in Curiosity, Joy and Community

We ask that Paideia parents make the Paideia Fund a philanthropic priority.  Last year’s effort exceeded our goal of $1.1 million.  Volunteers from all areas of the school are involved in this annual endeavor.  Grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, faculty and staff are also asked to contribute. We have changed the Annual Fund to the Paideia Fund to more fully reflect our shared commitment to the holistic growth of every member of our community, recognizing it takes the collective efforts of the entire school each year to make the kind of lasting impact that has led us to this moment.  You can now choose where to direct your Paideia Fund donation to one of these categories:

  • Curriculum and Instruction in the Classroom
  • Technology and Innovation
  • Financial Aid
  • Athletics
  • Visual and Performing Arts
  • Area of Greatest Need

The Paideia Fund allows Paideia to continue to say “yes” to programs and activities that embody our core values.  Yes to hard work through rigorous academic offerings.  Yes to creativity and innovation like the arts and STEAM.  And yes to empathy both inside and outside of the classroom with our dedication to diversity and financial aid.  Community is at the heart of Paideia’s legacy, and The Paideia Fund is a true community effort.  Every gift fosters learning and curiosity in ways that respect each child as an individual.

Leadership Opportunities within The Paideia Fund

The Python Society quietly recognizes leadership giving at paideia.  Python Society families are those who make a Paideia Fund gift of $2,500 or more.  These families include current and alumni parents, alumni, grandparents and friends of the school.  Donor names are not published but a social event is held each year for our leadership donors.

The Paideia Partners program is another level of Paideia Fund leadership giving focused on financial aid.  Paideia Partners are donors who give a gift of at least $10,000 for financial aid.  Like the Python Society, Paideia Partner donor names are not publicly recognized.

Proudly Paideia

Proudly Paideia is the school's new consecutive giving society that honors years of giving to Paideia rather than amount.  Donors become members of Proudly Paideia after two years of consecutive giving and are subsequently recognized at major milestones: 5,10,15, 20+.  Paideia believes that all gifts make a difference, not just the big ones, and that those who support the school year after year should be celebrated accordingly.  Together, we are Proudly Paideia!
