What is ultimate? - "Player defined and controlled non-contact team sport played with a flying disc on a playing field 110 yards long by 40 yards wide, with end zones of 20 yards in depth in which all actions are governed by the 'Spirit of the Game."
Spirit of the Game defined - Ultimate has traditionally relied upon a spirit of sportsmanship, which places the responsibility for fair play on the player him/herself. For over 40 years, ultimate has flourished, reaching a highly competitive level worldwide, without referees.
Goals and Philosophy
The sport of ultimate depends on passion, dedication and hard work. The focus of ultimate at Paideia School is to develop strong athletes, teammates and citizens, and have as much fun as is humanly possible in the process.
