In December, senior William Rudolph was recognized as one of the 2025 YoungArts award winners. YoungArts is a non-profit organization that identifies exceptional young artists, amplifies their potential and invests in their lifelong creative freedom. Every year, thousands of performing, visual and literary artists aged 15-18 apply to YoungArts national competition in hopes of gaining mentorship, financial awards and the chance to attend National YoungArts week.

Of the 11,000 applicants across 10 artistic disciplines, William was one of 800 students across the nation to receive this award and one of only ten students to receive this recognition for photography. William has studied photography under Paideia photography teacher Holly White throughout his high school career and has served as a student photographer for the Paideia communications team for the past two years.

As a YoungArts award winner, William had the opportunity to participate in National YoungArts week, which was held January 5-11 in Miami, Florida. During National YoungArts week, award winners collaborate with their peers, attend workshops and receive mentorship from internationally recognized leaders in their fields.

Congratulations, William, on this acknowledgement of your exceptional work!
