Proudly Paideia Celebration for 20 years (or more!) of Consecutive Giving
Proudly Paideia's inaugural event marked a celebration of those who have supported the school with 20 or more years of consecutive giving. Over 100 Paideians, including current and alumni parents, current and retired faculty and staff, grandparents, former trustees, and alumni, gathered for a memorable evening of gratitude and camaraderie. Attendees were honored for their remarkable commitment to Paideia, with Head of School Tom Taylor expressing heartfelt appreciation for their enduring loyalty.
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) recently conducted a Vital Signs Assessment, looking for indicators of fundraising success or struggle ahead, and one data point stood out far more than any others - the number of donors who have given 20 years or more. We are so grateful to the more than 300 Paideians who have hit this amazing milestone and the hundreds more at the 2, 5, 10, and 15 year marks.
At the heart of Proudly Paideia lies the ethos of diversity and egalitarianism, embodying Paideia's core values. These dedicated supporters, our nearest and dearest, exemplify the profound impact of long-term giving on our community.
In parallel, Paideia's Fountain of Youth Society celebrates those inspired by the legacy of giving to consider including the school in their estate plans. With 70 families already embracing this commitment, the Fountain of Youth Society stands as a testament to the transformative power of legacy giving. Through planned gifts like the Pepperdene Fund, which brings distinguished writers to our community, individuals have the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy that enriches the lives of future generations of Paideians.
To our existing Fountain of Youth members, we extend heartfelt gratitude for your foresight and generosity. For those intrigued by the prospect of leaving a lasting impact on Paideia, we encourage you to explore joining our legacy giving society. Reach out to Kelly Douglas ‘02, our stewardship manager, for more information on how you can contribute to Paideia's legacy at douglas.kelly@paideiaschool.org.
Together, let us continue to uphold the spirit of Proudly Paideia and nurture a tradition of giving that sustains our cherished community for years to come.
