This year’s Pi Party on March 15 was an overwhelming show of support from the Paideia community. The party came back home to campus, and Pythons came out in full force to help raise funds for financial aid. And how about that faculty band!? Seeing parents, staff and other members of our school community enjoying the evening was truly special.
Over 500 members of our community gathered in the gyms for an epic event that raised more than $300,000. Pi Party co-chairs Natalie Castillejos and Natalie Yasson share their gratitude for everyone who contributed to the event, especially all of the volunteers who pitched in and lent their talents in so many ways from designing tablescapes and setting up chairs to picking up gift cards and providing snacks to keep the team fueled.
Our parent community donated items and experiences, helped with sponsorships, bid on silent and live auction items, attended parent breakfasts and spread the word about our return to campus. Even our students jumped in, creating incredible art pieces for the auction and holding creative fundraisers. It was a huge group project, and together, we knocked it out of the park.
All of these contributions allow us to bolster Paideia’s financial aid efforts. The money raised will directly support our community by working with families to help make tuition, textbooks, aftercare, class trips, athletics, arts, transportation and other required school-related activities more accessible.
