The Georgia Scholastic Press Association recently evaluated Paideia’s literary magazine The Blue Rider, which was submitted to their annual literary magazine competition. Entries were grouped by the school’s total student population and judged by professionals from across the country who have all completed the Journalism Education Association’s critique training. All literary magazines were judged on criteria such as quality of content, editing and proofreading, and layout. Judges evaluating The Blue Rider gave the literary magazine a score of 101 out of 120 points, ranking it as a “superior” publication.
