High School English teacher Sarah Schiff was recently named a 2024 Jack Hazard Fellow. The Jack Hazard Fellowship, sponsored by the New Literary Project, is a groundbreaking initiative that awards $5,000 of support for select high school teachers from around the United States to work on writing projects during the summer. Only ten fellows are chosen each year! Fellows are accomplished writers in fiction, creative nonfiction and memoir who teach full-time and represent the New Literary Project's mission to support writers across generations, communities and divides. Sarah has previously published short stories and nonfiction work, and is currently working on a novel. Congratulations, Sarah! To read more, click here
