Boys and Girls Cross Country Place 4th at State Championship

This past Friday, November 8, Paideia’s varsity boys and varsity girls cross country teams both earned a place on the podium, placing 4th out of the 24 qualifying teams at the GHSA 2024 1A-3A Private State Cross Country Championships in Carrollton, GA. Additionally, senior Sisi Elkinson earned All-State recognition and an individual state medal by placing 9th in her race.

Congratulations to our varsity boys: Ben Walton-Scott, Matt Walton-Scott, Nate DePlonty, Emerson Green, Bob Fooshee, Duncan Walker, Viraj Chaudhry (Alternates – Nate Moore, Horace Tate, Liam Lenhart).

And our varsity girls: Sisi Elkinson, Caroline Struby, Kathryn Hales, Madeleine Moon-Chun, Alex Huynh, Izzy Wood, Luna Jerpe (Alternates – Eleanor Boutte, Maya Brambrut).

Congratulations to coaches Becca McCauley, Dan McCauley and Tom McCarty and all of the cross country athletes on a great season!
