Paideia is a PK-12 college preparatory school in the Druid Hills area of Atlanta. The elementary school enrolls approximately 320 students in 14 self-contained classrooms.
This full-time position includes co teaching a mixed age Kindergarten/1st grade class. Other job requirements include; playground duty, weekly faculty meetings, carpool duty, chaperoning field trips, collaborating with their teaching partner on bi-annual parent conferences, and participating as a full member of the school community.
We are looking for a dynamic educator to join our student-centered learning community. The position requires flexibility and confidence to design and teach elementary curricula in our inclusive community. Issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion are explored in every aspect of this school community and faculty members must be willing to lead in this area.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in child development, elementary education, or other related area. While a masters level degree is appreciated, it is not required. At least 3-5 years of teaching experience is preferred.
