Parent Education

Paideia provides several opportunities for parents, teachers and administrators to come together to learn more about education and parenting and school curriculum.

The groups include:

• The Schools Attuned Projects, a school-wide parent-teacher group that meets regularly to read and discuss the work of noted education researcher Dr. Melvin Levin.
• Floor-time, an on-going discussion group about ways to foster emotional and cognitive growth for half day and lower elementary parents using the research of noted child expert Dr. Stanley Greenspan.
• Playground Politics – a discussion group for lower elementary parents based on the research of Dr. Stanley Greenspan.
