Academic Bowl 

Academic Bowl members compete in academic tournaments in order to enhance knowledge.

Amnesty International

Through direct and indirect service and advocacy, Amnesty International promotes awareness about human right violations and incites action to end them.

Art Club

Art club works to involve kids who are interested in art on many levels. Members of the club perform art related service projects, assist the art faculty with hanging shows and exhibits, and plan activities for any interested High School students.

BAGHLT Pride

Gay- Straight Alliance support group for BAGHLT students. A forum for discussion of issues of sexuality and specifically is- sues revolving around being a bisexual, gay, heterosexual, lesbian, or transgendered youth

Chemistry Club

The Chemistry Club plans and executes interesting experiments and presentations.

Cooking Club

Cooking Club provides an outlet for all people interested in cooking and enjoying food. Members are involved in teaching, sharing, and learning about cooking. They hope to foster an enjoyment of cooking in all our members.

Debate Team

Besides compete in interscholastic competitions, the Debate Club invests their time learning, how to be eloquent, con- struct logical arguments, and think on their feet about current events.

DHAD explores the workings of the human brain through readings, films, and discussions with an emphasis on how the brain learns.

Dungeons and Dragons

DND plans meetings and plays this fantasy role play game.

French Club

French club strives to promote French culture and language learning throughout the school. They work to raise awareness of French speaking cultures throughout the world

Green Team

The Green Team educates our community about the ways humans impact the environment. Through a focus on energy conservation, recycling, and ecosystem preservation, they work to limit the negative impact of the Paideia community on the environment.

The Grief Group provides a forum for students who have lost a loved one.

Jew Crew

The Jew Crew is a forum for Jewish members of the Paideia community to keep touch with each other and their Judaism.

LASSO

LASSO (Latin American and Spanish Speaking Students Organization) has established a group or smaller community of people who can identify together by knowing what it’s like to be Latino at Paideia and in general life.

Math Team

The Math Team encourages a deeper study of mathematics.  This group also coordinates regional and national tests, and competes against other area schools.

SADD

SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) works to prevent dangerous behavior in our community, especially concern- ing drug and alcohol consumption and the negative outcomes that can result.

Science Olympiad

The purpose of Science Olympiad is to promote the learning of more advanced, and diverse scientific topics, than are taught at school. Participants are expected to do independent study/and or building. Each year we compete in a regional tournament, and if the team does well we go to the state tournament; that is the ultimate goal.

Spanish Club helps students broaden their horizons about the Spanish culture and language.

The Spirit Club helps support the athletics teams at our school. This is a great way for students who do not play sports to get involved.

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is Paideia’s student government organization. The committee plans social events for the entire High School including, The Bash, Spirit Week, and Class Points competitions. The committee also provides financial support for other student organizations.

Dreamers and Allies is a group dedicated to supporting undocumented youth.
