Paideia Junior Photographer Part of National Exhibition

The work of a Paideia junior photographer is part of the national traveling exhibition of the National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. The exhibit will travel for two years and shown in multiple galleries around the country.

Paideia student photography is on display in the Atlanta Celebrates Photography's My Atlanta exhibition in Ponce City Market. The gallery is open Thursday to Sunday. Check here for gallery hours.
Paideia Students to Perform in All-National Ensemble Performances

Two Paideia high school students, a soprano and a cellist, will perform in the 2015 All-National Honor Ensembles at a gala concert at the National Association for Music Education conference in Nashville, Tenn. on Oct. 28. The performance will take place at the Grand Ole Opry House. The mixed choir features 350 student performers and the orchestra and band features 150.
Paideia Students Named to Area Youth Orchestras

Paideia students have been named to area youth orchestras and one student has been named to the 2015 National Honor Orchestra. Three students were named to the Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra. Two students have been named to the Atlanta Youth Symphony Orchestra. Nine students were named to the Emory Junior Chamber Orchestra. The Rialto Youth Jazz Orchestra has selected two Paideia students.
Junior High Band Honored at Music Festival

The junior high band earned the top rating, superior, at the annual "Trills and Thrills" performance evaluation Saturday, May 2 at Six Flags.
Paideia Student Work Honored at Georgia Photography Exhibition

The photographs of Paideia students received first and second place awards as well as a merit award and honorable mention at the 24th Annual Georgia Photography Awards and Exhibition presented by Pace Academy and Atlanta Celebrates Photography.
Paideia Orchestra and Chorus Place First at Disney Florida Festival

The Paideia high school orchestra placed first in the "Best in Class" category and first in the "Most Outstanding Orchestra" category winning the Gold Mickey Mouse award at the Disney Festival in Orlando.
The high school chorus won first place in the "Most Outstanding Chorus" category winning the Gold Mickey Mouse award at the festival.
Paideia Student Photographs Selected for National Publication

Nine Paideia high school students have been selected as finalists by the Photographers Forum. Their photographs will appear in the "Best of College & High School Photography 2015" publication. The finalists represent the top 8 percent of 17,000 submissions.
In addition, Hannah Neiditz placed fourth and her photograph will appear in the May 2015 issue of "Photographers Forum" and entered into Nikon's Emerging Photographers Hall of Fame.
Paideia Students Receive Scholastic Art and Writing Regional Awards

Thirty Paideia students have been selected for recognition for their work by the 2015 Scholastic Art and Writing Regional Awards. The awards included Gold Key (9), Silver Key Awards and Honorable Mentions for artwork, photography and writing. Gold Key winners progress to the national level competition
