Alumni Advisory Council Mission

This working council provides guidance, advice, support, and leadership on issues surrounding Paideia and  the alumni program including leadership development, alumni cultivation, communications, event planning, and philanthropy.

Paideia

We have often discussed how growing up, Paideia was like a third parent to each of us: supporting us, pushing us, and helping determine our future paths. So it’s nice as adults to be able to give back to this place that has meant so much to us, and now to our children, as well. Chairing the Alumni Council, we’ve been lucky enough to watch the effect on alums when they return to campus: to see the memories flood back, the connection they feel with teachers who are still here on campus, and to watch as they remember who they were during their time here, and how important Paideia was in their lives. For many of us, it is still that important, and we - in turn - have an important role to place in supporting Paideia. We encourage you to visit campus, join a committee, touch base with classmates or an old teacher, and help us care for this third parent as it continues to touch the lives of hundreds of children every day.
