Financial Aid
For families with students CURRENTLY ENROLLED at Paideia, this year we will be using the Financial Aid for Student Tuition (FAST) assessment service, instead of SSS, for the first time. Please contact Nancy Isom at 404-270-2302 for details about this process.
Instructions, Forms & Deadlines
Applying for financial aid from Paideia is a multi-step process. Please read the directions below carefully and make note of the specific requirements and deadlines.
- Visit the website of the National Association of Independent Schools for online access to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS). From there, click the “Complete a PFS Online ” button in order to complete an electronic version of the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS); payment is by credit or debit card only. Once submitted, this form will be automatically forwarded to the SSS office for processing. Be sure to direct SSS to send its report directly to our business office; the Paideia School code is 5638. (If you would prefer to work with a hardcopy of this form, please call Nancy Isom in our business office, 404/270-2302.) Deadline: Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
- Download, print, and complete our Financial Aid Summary Application (a pdf version is available at right) and make copies of both parents’ 2011 1040 tax returns with the accompanying schedules, including 2011 W-2 and 1099 forms. (Please note that early tax preparation will be necessary.) Mail or deliver these materials to our business office.We cannot process your financial aid application until we have received this information. Deadline: Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
- If you own a business you are also required to complete an additional form called the SSS Business/Farm Statement, which is available at the NAIS website. Mail or deliver this form to our business office. Deadline: Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
