Applicants from “A Better Chance”

Paideia participates as a member school in A Better Chance (www.abetterchance.org), a school-referral service noted for its success in identifying, recruiting, and developing the potential of students of color. We encourage applicants from A Better Chance to learn about our school by exploring this website and attending our admissions meetings and visiting programs, which begin in October (see Important Dates & Deadlines).

After A Better Chance refers you to Paideia, please fill out an electronic inquiry form right away to sign up for a tour or visit. We then ask that you submit an abbreviated Paideia application, including the following items (see the A Better Chance Supplemental Forms packets):

• Online Application
• Photograph of applicant
• Junior High Student Application or High School Student Application (if applicable)
• Records Request form (we want to receive your child's first-semester grades, so please print a copy of this form and deliver it to your child's current school)

We waive the application fee for applicants from A Better Chance. If you have questions about applying to Paideia, please call our admissions offce at 404-270-2312.
