Atlanta Urban Development Institute

This two-week program focuses on urban development issues that affect Atlanta and the city's ability to achieve sustainable and prosperous growth for all its citizens.
The Institute's classes will introduce students first hand to Atlanta's communities and the challenges facing local governments to provide social and public services. The Institute will feature onsite meetings with leaders from local governments, state agencies, and civic and community organizations. Issues that will be explored in depth include homelessness, public housing, transportation and environmental justice and the importance of citizen engagement and involvement.
